Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Program manage some of the most complex cross functional, cross Supergroups programs directing contributing to our highest priorities Company Goals.
- Partner with Group Leadership to facilitate the delivery of Canva’s highest priority, complex and multi-disciplinary initiatives
- Drive and influences senior stakeholders on key delivery decisions, trade-offs, sequencing, and company-wide processes
- Improving the operating system for delivery across the group: planning hygiene, roadmap visibility, decision-making practices, cross-team governance, and scalable ways of working
- Support engineering leads in maintaining and driving good delivery techniques during (& after) goal planning - including milestones shaping/scoping, prioritisation efforts, estimations, capacity planning.
- Monitor and track delivery status across multiple teams and projects
- Manage open issues relating to program delivery. Assess and manage program risks
- Manage dependencies across teams and groups
- Build a culture and environment to achieve excellence and innovation
- Build partnerships with cross-functional teams to influence decisions, drive alignment and prioritization
You're probably a match if
- You have a minimum of 10 years TPM experience at a SaaS company.
- You have experience operating at Staff TPM scope in complex product or platform organisations.
- You have experience in some of the Revenue Platform related domains (e.g. AI monetisation, billing, promotion platforms, subscriptions, payments, checkout, fraud)
- You have deep understanding of product development methodologies
- You are knowledgeable in technical concepts, systems and practices
- You have experience working with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver key company initiatives
- You are comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- You are a natural communicator who leads through influence, not authority
- You have a love for navigating complexity and tackling ambiguous problems
- You are process-oriented but flexible in approach
- You are motivated to provide an inclusive and psychologically safe environment for our diverse team to collaborate together, in a timely fashion, towards shared goals
- You have introspective focus to continually improve the effectiveness of Canva’s teams
- You are dedicated to personal growth and improving in your craft as a TPM
- You demonstrated leadership capability to ensure clarity, alignment and accountability to achieve our crazy big goals
- You have the ability to think strategically but also able to make crazy big goals happen. This role will be very hands-on!
About the Growth Super Group and Revenue Platform Group
Growth Super Group puts Canva into the hands of customers all over the world and help them realise its full value. It’s a cross-functional global supergroup of 500+ passionate people, and made up of six Groups: Logged Out Experience, Discover & Connect Value, Value Differentiation, Revenue Platform, Grow, and Foundational Goals Strategy & Performance.
Across these groups, Growth spans the end-to-end user journey — from building growth-focused product experiences and running experiments, to enabling monetisation at scale through payments, subscriptions, pricing, and AI-related platform capabilities.
The Revenue Platform Group owns the strategy & roadmap for enabling everyone, across the planet, to access the paid features of Canva, whether that’s through a subscription or a one off transaction. We do everything from building out complex new payment integrations to enabling other Canva groups to achieve their goals and monetise their features and products be it through subscription management, flawless checkout journeys or localised payment experiences. More recently we have a huge focus building out the platform to support our AI limit management.
We’re seeking someone to demonstrate leadership in coordinating extensive programs of work across and embedding delivery practices across teams within the Revenue Platform group.
Revenue Platform “builds and operates the infrastructure that powers Canva’s global revenue” and is organised across the four main subgroup.
The group is 150+ people across 16 teams and owns systems and platforms around subscriptions, billing, payments, fraud, checkout, SKUs, upgrades, promotions, pricing and packaging.
