Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job descriptions can feel a bit formulaic sometimes, but we promise Canva is anything but. If you're drawn to what we're building and you see yourself in this role, we'd love to hear from you.
Where and How You Can Work
Our Paris office is a hub for collaboration and energy, and this role is based there. We also believe in working where you do your best thinking, so we offer flexibility to balance in-office and remote work in a way that suits you - while staying connected to the local SMB community you'll be building.
What You'd Be Doing in This Role
This role sits at the intersection of community and marketing - two of Canva's most powerful growth levers. You'll help small business owners, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs across France discover what Canva can do for them, and turn that discovery into genuine advocacy.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Launching and scaling the French Canvassador programme — building a network of SMB ambassadors who drive peer-led advocacy, referrals, and social proof
- Hosting high-impact events across France (Paris-first, then regional) — workshops, community labs, and ecosystem events that showcase Canva as a professional, work-ready tool
- Building strategic partnerships with SMB networks, accelerators, financial institutions, and government programmes to grow Canva's reach and credibility in the French market
- Collaborating with Growth Marketing, SEO, and Content teams on campaigns anchored in France's priority use cases — quality visual work, social media creation, and design with AI
- Tracking and communicating community impact across MAU growth, ambassador engagement, partner-driven acquisition, and contribution to ARR
You're Probably a Match If:
- You have experience growing and engaging SMB audiences, with a track record of driving adoption and community-led growth
- You understand the French small business and solopreneur landscape — its challenges, ecosystems, and the trust dynamics that matter here
- You've built or scaled ambassador programmes and grassroots campaigns that turn everyday users into genuine brand advocates
- You're comfortable facilitating events - workshops, networking sessions, flagship activations — and know how to turn a room into a community
- You're analytical: you track KPIs, draw insights from data, and can connect community activity directly to business outcomes
- You're fluent in French (native or equivalent) and communicate confidently in English
