About the Group/Team
 Marketing’s mission at Canva is for Canva to become “the most loved brand in the world”. Canva’s International Marketing Group is a diverse and distributed group of marketers who take this mission forward to drive user growth, brand awareness, and affinity in our priority international markets.
As part of the International Marketing Group, our Europe Marketing team for driving market-specific growth goals and comprehensive market strategies across Europe across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.
What you’d be doing in this role
Please note this will be a fixed term contract for 9 months.
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Overseeing a new regionally embedded team of performance media buyers to develop & optimise mid & lower funnel campaigns to deliver against user growth & revenue targets 
- Managing a group of creative strategists in role to unlock the most powerful lever to drive media effectiveness; truly local creative to drive maximum channel effectiveness and efficiency 
- Ensuring channel needs are met and there is a connective thread across our media buying and creative development plans 
- Partnering closely with Creative & Social teams to develop thumb stopping creative 
- Collaborating closely with data science to set and evolve targets 
You're probably a match if
- You have 8 years+ experience of managing Growth/Performance Marketing across Europe (ideally at both a market and regional level) 
- You have hands-on and in depth media experience and understand the technical aspect of channel management 
- You have a clear understanding of the leading and lagging indicators and where to focus in leveraging a range of data insights to drive business outcomes 
- You are a strong operator and can quickly spot areas for process optimisation to drive faster business outcomes 
- You are goal oriented and performance obsessed!
