About Sonder
At Sonder, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to be at their best, wherever they are. We're redefining workplace health, safety, and wellbeing through a seamless blend of technology and human expertise. Sonder's mobile platform provides 24/7, real-time support from a dedicated team of safety, medical, and mental health professionals, ensuring members receive immediate care when they need it most.
Since our founding in 2017, we've grown rapidly across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Backed by Seek and Blackbird, we now support over one million members and 200+ team members globally. We're well-capitalised, scaling fast, and actively building toward an AI-native organisation.
About the Role
This is a category-defining product role, not an incremental one. Sonder sits on real signals of organisational risk and wellbeing that no survey or self-report can match, and this role turns that into insight leaders actually act on, working closely with our clinical team to build recommendations that are credible and specific. You will need to be as comfortable presenting to executives and boards as you are shaping the roadmap, and genuinely curious about where AI can take the product next.
What You'll Bring
- Experience taking a data or insights product from raw capability to something customers rely on, whether that background is in product, consulting or strategy, wellbeing or people, or data-focused analytics
- Genuine comfort in front of customers at executive and board level, with the judgement to translate complex data into a clear recommendation rather than a dashboard
- An instinct to lead with a conclusion, not a wall of data
- Comfort working alongside a clinical team and the humility to defer to their judgement where it belongs
- Confidence building AI into the product itself, using it to scale recommendations rather than just speed up delivery
- Comfort with ambiguity and privacy constraints, and the appetite to build a category as you go
- Analytical rigour, without needing to be a data scientist
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with data visualisation and analytics tools such as SQL, Snowflake, or Thoughtspot is a plus, though not essential. What matters more is the ability to translate what the data means for the people making decisions
