Description
As an Accounting Intern you will work alongside the senior members of the Finance/Accounting Department, getting unique hands-on experience in a corporate finance department. In addition to the core finance/accounting function, you will also be exposed to the fundamentals of a Software (SaaS) company and gain an appreciation for life in a faced-paced venture-backed technology start-up.
Responsibilities
Support the Finance Staff in the following activities:
- Handle transactional accounting for local and international entities
- Assisting with accounting entries and periodic report preparation
- Support month-end closing processes
- Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciliation and invoice handling
- Contribute to ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Studying a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or any other relevant discipline
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Must be in the final one or two years of study
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications - particularly Excel / Google Sheets
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work at least 2 days in the office inline with internal company policy.
Additional Qualifications
- This position may require no more than 20% travel from time to time as set forth by the Company.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where this position is based without the need for visa sponsorship at time of application.
- Must have reliable internet connection and an at home workstation setup. (For remote positions)
