As our IT specialist, it is your job to take ownership of all the IT groundwork support. You will assist the Information Technology team with all aspects of technical support and be the office ‘go-toʼ person for IT needs. This includes, but not limited to user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, assisting with networking maintenance and all other important technology needs we have here at SafetyCulture.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support all groundwork IT tasks across our Australian and international offices
- Provide a high level of customer service while supporting staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Support includes, but is not limited to, Macs (primarily), PCs, audiovisual equipment and the variety of SaaS offerings SafetyCulture leverages in its operation.
- Maintain support history by recording all requests in Global IT and Facilities Support Desk; analyse and present support data to proactively identify improvement opportunities IT
- Assist in preparing and deploying MacBooks and PC's for staff, including imaging and redeployment
- Ability to use Kandji and Microsoft Intune Apple/Windows MDM) or willingness to learn/ upskill in the use of this software will be crucial to the success of this role
- Willingness to take on feedback from your customers and implement solutions to continuously improve usage of IT services
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues liaising with external vendors for purchasing, repairs and support
- Willing to provide on-site technical support at events, including team stand-ups, product demos and internal events
- Communicate frequently with end users as well as with global teams.
- Document and update technology related instructions/procedures/knowledge articles
- Passionate about making your customers happy and owning their experience with technology
Role Requirements/Experience Needed:
- Mac OS and Google Suite experience is a key selection criterion for the role
- Experience with Kandji and Microsoft Intune is highly desired
- Okta experience desirable
- Experience with Workato and integrations desirable
- Experience troubleshooting Apple and Windows platforms, including hardware and software issues, maintenance and deployment of devices
- SaaS access and SSO provisioning experience
- Network troubleshooting and managed network experience with Cisco Meraki or similar is desirable
- Atlassian, Confluence and Jira experience preferred
- Experience effectively communicating and presenting technical concepts to management, peer group and staff
- Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or escalate to the appropriate expertise area
- Lifting/moving equipment is required
- Some out of hours work and travel will be required
