Your Mission
Responsibilities
- Stay ahead of Philippine labor laws, ensuring our policies and practices remain compliant and up to date. You'll be our go-to expert on local legislative requirements.
- Use data to drive decisions, challenge the status quo, and influence improvements across the organization.
- Work with our Employer of Record to manage employee contracts and compliance, ensuring accurate employee data.
- Coaching managers and working with them to design and implement performance management processes that drive growth and accountability.
- Foster a culture of psychological safety where employees and managers feel comfortable sharing feedback.
- Provide guidance to managers on handling challenging situations, from delivering feedback to navigating complex employee conversations.
- Collaborate with the global People team to develop HR policies and technical solutions that align with employee needs and company goals.
- Champion DEI initiatives in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring inclusivity from hiring to the entire employee journey.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, balancing support with business needs.
Your Skills
- 5+ years in an internal HRBP or People Partner role is essential
- Relevant qualifications and advanced knowledge of PH labor laws with an ability to apply them to internal policies
- Exceptional communication skills and fluent in English
- Experience working as part of a global team. You’ve successfully collaborated with Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition teams (or similar) to meet cross functional company goals
- Solid background in performance management and employee relations
- Exceptional communication skills- you’re comfortable guiding leaders through tough conversations.
- A problem-solving mindset, you thrive on finding win-win solutions and your default is to assume good intent and lead with trust
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
- You’re a people person, not a people pleaser
- Experience in a SaaS company
- Experience working in a start up or scale up
