🚀 Our story

Partly's mission is to connect the world's parts and we're doing that by building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts. Our big vision is to accelerate the world towards a sustainable future where waste is eliminated and all replacement parts are universally searchable, accessible and available to all.

Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, we utilise cutting-edge technology to solve challenging but exciting problems that make a huge impact in a $1.9 trillion industry. We've more than tripled our team over the last 12 months and expect to double in size again over the coming 12 months. We're a global team spanning both Europe and Australasia.

We provide a scalable digital infrastructure solution to some of the world's largest businesses and the most exciting startups. Partly's solutions are integrated across hundreds of companies globally, providing the backbone for cataloguing and managing parts online.

Our investors in Blackbird Ventures (Canva, CultureAmp etc.), Square Peg, Octopus Ventures, Icehouse, Peter Beck (Rocket Lab), Akshay Kothari (Notion Co-Founder) and Dylan Field (Figma Co-Founder).

We're continuing to build a world-class team and ensuring Partly is a place where people can do the best work of their lives. We're proud of the culture we've built at Partly, and our values are lived throughout every experience.

🖍️ This role

Data in the automotive industry is scattered around the world in a variety of complex formats, and the fun part is in unifying these data into a single format that drives our clients' business.

The Technical Solutions Engineer will play an essential role in working with our customers to set them up for success. You'll communicate with clients across the globe and work cross-functionally with our Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.

You will be responsible for the entire data processing process, from collecting to transforming data for our enterprise clients. It requires comprehensive data science, data engineering, and business knowledge.

You will report to the EU GM.

💻 What You’ll Do

  • Work with enterprise automotive customers to understand their business, goals, and data, and help them apply AI to solve key challenges.

  • Partner with Account Executives to guide customers through evaluations and pilot projects. Define success metrics, lead technical discussions, and deliver strong outcomes.

  • Build and demo solutions that showcase our AI and data platform for real customer use cases.

  • Earn technical trust with data and engineering teams by providing clear architecture and integration guidance.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to solve customer problems and share insights that help shape the roadmap.

  • Identify emerging use cases and patterns and turn them into repeatable best practices for future customers.

🥷 Your Skills

  • Experience designing or deploying AI-powered products and understanding of evaluation metrics and integration patterns.

  • Proficiency with SQL and Python, and familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and data workflows.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to both technical and business audiences.

  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to prototype, experiment, and find practical solutions.

  • Collaborative, curious, and customer-obsessed. You take pride in helping customers succeed and grow with the product.

  • Bonus: experience or interest in the automotive parts, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
