MoreGoodDays is looking for a General Practitioner to see patients and act as an advisor to help us support people who live with fibromyalgia and chronic pain.
💜 About MoreGoodDays
At MoreGoodDays, we are dedicated to helping people manage their fibromyalgia through digital pain management programs.
Today, we know that the best approach to managing fibromyalgia treats every aspect of the patient, involving the right medication, psychology, physical conditioning, diet and lifestyle. We combine the best of all these elements and make it affordable for patients to access from the comfort of home.
The current program was built by a team of doctors, patients, scientists, designers and innovators all dedicated to our mission of reimagining multidisciplinary chronic pain care. Based on initial pilots with over a hundred participants, more than 70 per cent of patients experienced clinically significant improvement in measured outcomes (PSEQ, BPI, PCS, DASS-21).
About the role
We’re looking for a General Practitioner who is knowledgeable about fibromyalgia and who understands that treating chronic pain requires a multidisciplinary approach.
You are someone who deeply respects your patients and is committed to actively listening and responding with empathy and understanding. You understand that every patient is different and that the best pain treatment is whole-person focused, coordinated and paced involving the right medication management, fibromyalgia education, psychology, diet and lifestyle.
You also keep up to date with medical advances and will work as an advisor to our team, sharing your knowledge and expertise and helping us to understand this complex topic and create appropriate educational content. You’ll also be adept at communicating complex ideas in simple and engaging ways and will draw on cross-disciplinary scientific literature such as pain neuroscience, health psychology and behavioural sciences to create content that has a direct positive impact on our audience lives.
What you'll do
Work with patients to understand their symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors. Then, combine this information with our in-depth knowledge of fibromyalgia to develop a personalised treatment plan that addresses the patient’s unique needs, to help them regain control over their health.
Work with our in-house team, to ensure our content is grounded in the best available science.
Write content in an efficient manner that engages our audience and motivates action.
Work closely with the marketing and content team to deliver to deadlines and incorporate feedback from reviews.
Keep abreast of trends, medical and/or technical writing/regulatory knowledge, and developments and advances in pain management, health psychology, behavioural science and other relevant fields.
Keeping the team informed of any major changes, needs or risks identified.
About you
You're a registered General Practitioner who cares about those living with chronic pain and wants to make a real difference. You are inspired to support both patients and non-specialist content creators to make a direct impact in the lives of people living with chronic pain.
A medical degree, registered to practise in Australia, and 3+ years of experience in general practice.

Driven to keep up to date with medical and regulatory knowledge in the chronic pain space and developments in other related fields.
