About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Presales Consultant to join our fast-growing team. This role is the critical link between sales and technical functions, shaping how our customers experience Leonardo.Ai from first touch through adoption. You’ll bring technical expertise, customer empathy, and solution design skills to help prospects understand the full potential of our platform, driving trust, adoption, and sales success.

Where You’ll Make Your Mark (and Grow Fast Doing It)

  • Requirement Analysis: Partner closely with sales to deeply understand customer needs, constraints, and business objectives, and translate them into actionable solution designs.

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with product and engineering to design, customise, and validate solutions that are scalable, secure, and compatible with customer environments.

  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling demos and technical presentations that showcase Leonardo.Ai’s capabilities, addressing technical questions with clarity and confidence.

  • Technical Support in Presales: Guide sales teams and customers through technical evaluations, security reviews, and solution assessments, ensuring confidence in adoption.

  • Documentation & Proposals: Create technical proposals, solution architectures, statements of work, and presales collateral that clearly articulate our solutions and their value.

  • Enablement & Scale: Build reusable processes, materials, and best practices that strengthen and scale the presales function across Leonardo.Ai.

Key Measures of Success

  • Impact on Win Rate: Direct contribution to increased conversion of opportunities where presales is engaged.

  • Number of Influenced Deals: Active, visible involvement in driving presales opportunities.

  • Presales Collateral Creation: Development of high-quality, up-to-date technical resources that support sales and client engagement.

  • Achieving Scale: Building systems, tools, and partnerships that enable presales to reach and support more customers.

  • Adoption Success: A measurable increase in successful onboarding and active usage of Leonardo.Ai among new clients.

The Skills (and Mindset) We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a technical presales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering role within SaaS or AI/ML-powered products.

  • Strong technical literacy—able to quickly understand and explain complex AI-driven solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent presentation, demo, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt to customer context.

  • Experience with solution design, integrations, and architecture discussions with enterprise customers.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic design with hands-on delivery.

  • Growth mindset: a willingness to dive in, learn quickly, and help shape how the presales function evolves at Leonardo.Ai.
