We’re hiring an ambitious AI engineer who wants to collaborate with PhD chemists on deep technical problems, and ship real product from day one. You’ll work directly with the founders and a team of engineers and scientists on vertical-specific AI challenges in one of the world’s most important industries.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI systems to structure messy, unstructured chemical and scientific data
- Train and fine-tune LLMs, embedding models, and pipelines for semantic search and structured extraction
- Collaborate across product, engineering, and domain teams to turn research into real features
- Move fast, experiment, and iterate on models in production
- Bringing the latest cutting edge techniques and experiment with new things

technical requirements
- Previous involvement in building and commercialising software at scale.
- Experience building with LLMs, embeddings, and deploying vector databases
- Familiarity with ML fundamentals, NLP, or RAG pipelines
- Strong understand of asynchronous programming
- Required Stack: Python, FastAPI, Docker and PostgreSQL
- (Bonus) Implementing CI/CD (Github Actions, AWS CDK), Typescript, NestJS/ExpressJS, NextJS and React
