About this Role
As a Design Engineer you will have the breadth to design, concept, prototype, and build new experiences for our web and digital presence, beginning with our marketing website — a first for Instant, and something we’re ready to take to the next level! You will work within our marketing team to create industry-leading and standout designs for Instant’s front door surfaces, educating customers about the power of our products, a key part towards driving our businesses success.
You’ll create new design components in our libraries, and use those to build incredible pages. You’ll often craft individual experiences or animations that distill a complex topic into a simple concept. You’ll have the freedom and autonomy to do you best work, leading exciting initiatives that have a major impact on Instant’s marketing engine, brand, premium perception in market and overall success.
Responsibilities
Design and Build high-performance web pages
Work within the marketing team to prototype and implement web animations and interaction-heavy product launch materials
Concept and prototype UX components and motion studies
Establish, maintain and extend our marketing design systems
Create visually appealing assets and material as required
Lead with elegance and quality through your design work
We want to work with you if you:
3+ years of relevant web front-end development or creative technology experience at a tech-forward, product-driven company
Strong understanding of design principles and best practices
Advanced knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
Experience writing clear, elegant code in a team environment
A zeal for the web as a storytelling medium, demonstrable through a portfolio of design work and frontend code showcasing design systems, engaging microsites or anything else—you tell us!
Experience designing and building public facing websites that work elegantly across commonly used browsers and devices
