Who are Heidi?

Heidi is on a mission to halve the time it takes to deliver world-class care.

We believe that by 2050, every clinician will practice with AI systems that free them from administrative burdens and increase the quality and accessibility of care to patients across the world.

Built for clinicians, by clinicians, at the core of Heidi is its people. We are an eclectic bunch of inventors, builders, scientists, nurses, doctors, mathematicians, designers, creatives, and high-agency executors.

We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do. In just 12 months, 20 million patient consults were supported by Heidi, and we’re now powering more than 1 million consults every week.

With our most recent $16.6MM round of funding from leading VC firms, we’re geared up to supercharge our ambitious global growth, starting with the US, Canada, UK and Europe - and we need great people like you to get there. Ready for the challenge?

As we expand our global reach, we’re scaling our enterprise capabilities to serve large health systems and partners around the world. We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Global Enterprise Group.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Global Enterprise Group, the group responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining the core infrastructure and integrations that power Heidi’s enterprise partnerships across multiple regions (US, UK, and beyond).

In this role, you’ll lead multiple teams across key enterprise domains, including Integrations, Enterprise Core Capabilities, Revenue & Coding, and New Enterprise Opportunities. You’ll also oversee our Regional Enterprise Engineering teams, driving alignment, execution, and impact globally.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping our enterprise strategy, partnering closely with product, commercial, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact solutions for our largest partners. You’ll be responsible for growing and coaching engineering leaders and ICs, while driving technical excellence, reliability, and speed of execution across the group.

What you'll do:

You’ll work side by side with our engineering mastermind to shape the infrastructure behind the future of healthcare:

  • Lead and scale the Global Enterprise engineering group, including teams focused on integrations, core enterprise capabilities, revenue/coding, and regional expansion.

  • Set the vision and technical direction for enterprise initiatives, ensuring strong alignment across teams and regions.

  • Partner with product and go-to-market teams to define and execute our enterprise roadmap.

  • Drive delivery of complex integration and compliance initiatives (e.g., SSO/SAML, HL7/FHIR, RBAC, SOC2).

  • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and meet the demands of large healthcare organizations.

  • Set engineering standards and guide architectural decisions to balance speed and long-term sustainability.

  • Hire, coach, and mentor engineers and managers to help them grow in their roles.

  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive user experiences and strong technical alignment.

What we’ll look for:

  • Proven experience as an engineering leader in enterprise SaaS or B2B environments, ideally in healthtech or regulated industries.

  • Experience leading managers of managers, growing the team up to 20 engineers.

  • Strong technical background; comfortable diving into architecture and working closely with engineers.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling teams and building high-impact enterprise software.

  • Strong product intuition with a bias for impact and a pragmatic approach to technical trade-offs.

  • Experience working across time zones and collaborating with go-to-market teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Nice to have: Familiarity with healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR, and privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Nice to have: Experience with AI/ML-powered products.

What do we believe in?

  • We create unconventional solutions to difficult problems and we build them fast. We want you to set impossible goals and make them happen, think landing a rocket but the medical version.

  • You'll be surrounded by a world-class team of engineers, medicos and designers to do your best work, inspired by our shared beliefs:

    • We will stop at nothing to improve patient care across the world.

    • We design user experiences for joy and ship them fast.

    • We make decisions in a flat hierarchy that prioritizes the truth over rank.

    • We provide the resources for people to succeed and give them the freedom to do it.
