Who are Heidi?

Heidi is on a mission to halve the time it takes to deliver world class care.

We believe that in 2050 every clinician will practice with AI systems that free them from administrative burden and increase the quality and accessibility of care to patients across the world.

Today, we have a suite of tools that modernize documentation. Tomorrow, we’ll equip every healthcare org with AI assistants that undo the tediums of clinical & non clinical work

Our team is a potent mosaic of sage, accomplished leaders & brilliant polymaths hungry to prove it. We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do.

We’ve raised our $10M Series A led by Australia's largest VC firm, Blackbird Ventures and in the midst of our next raise, with an ambitious global go-to-market strategy starting with the US & UK.

The Role

Working closely with our Financial Controller, you’ll be a Financial Analyst with a finance or commercial background who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. You’ll be primarily responsible for financial accounting and reporting, while also contributing to financial analysis and strategic planning.

As we scale, you will play a key role in improving financial processes, implementing new systems, and collaborating with other departments to drive business efficiencies. This role offers a strong growth trajectory, with opportunities to progress as the company continues to expand.

You will be expected to take initiative, drive improvements, and ensure financial reporting and operations are streamlined to support Heidi’s rapid growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the day-to-day general ledger and financial reporting, manage AP/AR, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies

  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including ongoing management and investor reports

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insights on key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, churn) and assist in financial modelling for business planning.

  • Work with teams across the business (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to improve financial decision-making, evaluate billing flows, and drive efficiencies.

  • Identify inefficiencies, implement automation tools and enhance financial controls and operations using technology where appropriate to support scaling.

  • Engage with non-finance teams to streamline financial processes and provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives.

What we will look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • CA, CPA, qualification (or working towards one).

  • Experience in financial accounting, ideally with exposure to FP&A or commercial finance. Big 4, consulting, or high-growth SaaS experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., Xero, Hubspot or similar).

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management. Strong sense of ownership and initiative and a proactive problem-solver comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What do we believe in?

  • We create unconventional solutions to difficult problems and we build them fast. We want you to set impossible goals and make them happen, think landing a rocket but the medical version.

  • You'll be surrounded by a world-class team of engineers, medicos and designers to do your best work, inspired by our shared beliefs:

    • We will stop at nothing to improve patient care across the world.

    • We design user experiences for joy and ship them fast.

    • We make decisions in a flat hierarchy that prioritizes the truth over rank.
