What we’re about
At Harrison.ai, we’re redefining what’s possible in healthcare. Through our diagnostic AI solutions, we’re building tools that support clinicians to deliver earlier, more accurate diagnoses and raise the standard of care for millions of patients worldwide.
Our mission is bold but simple: to scale global healthcare capacity and create a fairer, healthier world. By using AI as a co-pilot for clinicians, we’re tackling one of healthcare’s biggest challenges, the shortage of human expertise, and giving every patient the chance to access timely, high-quality care, no matter where they live.
Because while we’re building cutting-edge AI, what we’re really building is hope—that everyone can access the healthcare they deserve.
And we’re just getting started.
About Your Role
The People Experience Lead partners closely with the Chief People Officer to help shape and deliver the people vision across a fully remote, AI-native, squad-based organisation. This is a senior generalist role spanning the full employee lifecycle - performance, leadership, culture, capability, wellbeing and talent - operating with a high degree of autonomy and judgement.
Rather than managing the team, the role coaches and mentors both the People Experience team and peers across other squads, lifting people capability wherever it's needed. It suits a senior generalist ready to operate with real autonomy and grow their influence over time - someone who partners day-to-day with squad leads, guild leads and the wider leadership team as a trusted people advisor.
This is a unique role to make an impact in an organisation that offers diversity day to day and never a dull moment.
What You Do:
Partner with the Chief People Officer to shape and deliver the people vision, strategy and priorities across the organisation
Deliver end-to-end generalist support across the employee lifecycle - partnering, onboarding, performance, development, remuneration cycles, engagement, offboarding and talent acquisition
Coach and mentor the People Experience team, building their capability and confidence
Advise and upskill squad leads and guild leads as a trusted partner on people matters - performance, difficult conversations, team health and capability
Own and continuously improve core people programmes, processes and policies, keeping them fit for a fully remote, AI-native, squad-based organisation
Use people data and insights to identify trends and drive proactive, evidence-based decisions
Champion Harrison.ai's culture and values, and lead engagement, wellbeing and belonging initiatives
Manage complex or sensitive employee-relations matters with sound judgement and discretion
What You Bring:
At least 8 years generalist HR/People experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity
Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and executives to shape and deliver people strategy
Deep, hands-on expertise across the full employee lifecycle - talent, performance, remuneration, engagement and employee relations
Experience designing and delivering both cyclical and strategic people programmes
Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a track record of building capability in others without direct management authority
Sound judgement and discretion handling complex, sensitive and confidential people matters
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across a diverse, distributed organisation
Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
Nice to have skills and characteristics:
Tertiary qualification in HR, business, psychology or a related field
Experience in a fast-scaling technology, healthcare or regulated environment
Familiarity with squad/agile-style or non-hierarchical operating models
Exposure to people analytics tools and data-driven people decision-making
Experience supporting a globally distributed, multi-region workforce
