About Your Role
We are seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance & Tax team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and providing tax advisory support. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of scaling global healthcare capacity, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enhancing tax efficiency. This position offers the flexibility of a remote-first work environment, aligning with our commitment to a collaborative and inclusive culture.
What You'll Do:
Preparation of tax returns, including corporate income tax, GST/VAT, FBT, R&D, ESS returns and withholding tax across multiple jurisdictions (AU, US, Europe, Southeast Asia),
Maintain and oversee tax compliance calendars to manage external deliverables and meetstrict deadlines,
Support the preparation of tax effect accounting (TEA) calculations across multiple entities,
Monitoring the group's international arrangement(s) and tax risk management policy and framework, and
Support the implementation of automated tax processes and adhoc duties (as required).
What You'll Bring:
3-5 years tax experience as a tax accountant,
An understanding of fundamental tax and accounting issues relevant to an Australian tax consolidated group with significant overseas transactions and interests,
Strong tax and legal research skills (including the interpretation of ATO rulings),
Proficiency in managing multiple deliverables across jurisdictions while meeting tight deadlines,
Comfortability with a rapidly changing environment and a strong desire to learn,
Dedication and a love for working with technology, defining and refining processes, and supporting all levels of employees within a global organisation, and

Ability to thrive in a remote-first, collaborative team environment and effectively engage with finance, legal, and external tax advisors.
Nice to have skills and characteristics:
Knowledge of US or global tax regulations.
