Halter is flipping the livestock world on its head. Our collars and software let farmers move and manage animals with a swipe of their phone. No bikes, no fences, no stress. We’re scaling fast across NZ and Australia, and the stakes keep getting higher.
Halter’s growth doesn’t end when Sales signs a contract. It’s won or lost in what happens next.
As APAC Launch Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering a high-quality customer launch experience across the APAC region. You’ll lead a frontline team responsible for onboarding new customers and getting them confidently using Halter day-to-day, seeing clear value in their operation as quickly as possible.
This role is about executing Halter’s customer launch strategy in-region, ensuring launches are consistent, efficient, and aligned with global standards, while still accounting for regional nuance. You’ll play a critical role in turning commercial wins into customers who stay, renew, and grow with Halter across APAC.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Support, Rev Ops, and the wider Global Customer Launch team to ensure the APAC launch motion runs smoothly, predictably, and at the right quality bar.
This role is based in our Auckland HQ, with some travel required.
What we're looking for
You’re a strong operator and people leader who knows that great customer experience comes from disciplined execution and continuous improvement. You’re comfortable leading your team in an environment where our launch operating model will constantly evolve as Halter grows, products change, and customer needs shift.
You’re customer-centric and commercially aware. You understand how effective onboarding, activation, and enablement reduce churn, drive retention, and improve unit economics. You balance doing right by the customer with operating efficiently and predictably to support global scale, and you know when the model needs to adapt to protect both.
You work well within defined frameworks, but you don’t treat them as static. You proactively identify gaps, pressure-test what’s working, and bring thoughtful, data-backed improvements forward. You partner closely with global and cross-functional teams to help evolve how we launch customers, ensuring we continue to deliver consistently great outcomes as the business scales.
You communicate clearly, lead from the front, and create structure and momentum for your team while playing a visible role in shaping the next iteration of Halter’s customer launch approach.
What you'll be doing

Manage regional customer outcomes and performance across APAC
Own regional performance across APAC, with accountability for new deployment ARR outcomes in APAC
Lead execution of the regional operating rhythm to ensure consistent, scalable customer delivery
Monitor leading indicators of risk and opportunity across your region, and take action through your team to improve outcomes
Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across APAC, balancing customer impact with operational efficiency
Track and increase APAC CSat response rate to understand how to improve customer outcomes and team performance
Identify patterns across customer segments and develop strategies to improve adoption, value realization, and long-term retention

Lead and develop the APAC Launch team
Manage and support frontline team members to complete launch activities using established guidelines and processes (you are not responsible for and should not directly manage accounts)
Set clear expectations and drive execution through team routines, coaching, and accountability
Support with workforce planning for the region - ensuring your team has the right coverage, capacity, and capability as new deployment ARR grows
Continually hire, onboard, and ramp talent in line with regional growth plans
Create a high-performance culture through ongoing coaching, feedback, development plans, and upskilling
Champion process consistency, tooling hygiene and quality standards across the team

Own new deployment ARR performance and improve Launch Cost across your region
Manage and deliver against regional new deployment ARR goals
Support with regional Launch cost (now in CAC), with accountability for improving efficiency while maintaining (or improving) customer outcomes and experience
Identify where time and effort are being spent disproportionately, and redesign team execution to reduce low-value work
Implement scalable, repeatable workflows that increase consistency and reduce time-to-resolution and operational overhead
Escalate systemic issues and improvement opportunities to Global Customer Launch team and cross-functional partners to solve at the root cause

Partner cross-functionally to drive regional success
Work closely with Sales to manage handoffs and set clear customer expectations
Partner and collaborate with Rev Ops and Support to ensure launches are operationally sound
Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering based on regional context, regional trends and adoption barriers
Represent the voice of the APAC region in global planning, forecasting, and improvement work

Bonus points
Experience leading onboarding, implementation, or customer operations teams in SaaS, hardware, or agtech.
Background in customer success, operations, or frontline team leadership.
Track record of improving execution quality, consistency, or efficiency within an established operating model.
