At Halter, we’re building a world-first system that transforms how farmers manage their land and animals, and our hardware sits at the heart of that experience. Every collar and tower in the field needs to perform reliably, every day, in tough farm environments. As we scale quickly, it’s critical that we maintain quality and move fast when things go wrong.
As part of our Fleet Operations team, you’ll play a key role in making sure returned collars, towers, and accessories are processed, diagnosed, and understood with urgency and precision. You’ll take ownership of the full returns workflow, from intake through to hands-on debugging and detailed fault analysis, ensuring we create tight, high-quality feedback loops into engineering and operations. This role is essential to enabling Halter’s growth without scaling manufacturing, design, or quality issues alongside it.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re methodical, curious, and enjoy getting to the bottom of tricky problems, whether that’s electronic fault-finding, mechanical failures, or patterns emerging across returned devices. Your work will directly influence how we improve the product, prevent repeat issues, and deliver an increasingly reliable experience for farmers.
This role is all about supporting the processing and diagnosis of returned hardware (collars, towers and accessories) to ensure quick, high-quality feedback loops into our engineering and operations teams.
