Content Specialist
Halter
Auckland, New Zealand
Posted on Jan 14, 2026
We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-centred Content Specialist to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you’ll help make learning effortless for farmers - turning complex ideas into clear, practical content that helps them feel confident, capable, and in control.
You’ll create everything from step-by-step help guides and articles to handouts and short videos that farmers can use on the spot. Your mission: ensure they get the right information at exactly the right moment, whether they’re troubleshooting on farm, trying something new, or looking to get more value out of Halter.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your work. By partnering closely with product, customer support, onboarding, field teams, and operations, you’ll build a deep understanding of what farmers are trying to achieve and where they run into challenges. You’ll dig into details, ask thoughtful questions, and develop a strong grasp of the product and on-farm workflows to create content that genuinely helps farmers succeed.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about education — someone who cares about why learning matters just as much as what people learn. You’re proactive, curious, obsessed with clarity, and driven to make farmers’ lives easier every day. If you love transforming knowledge into simple, useful, beautifully polished content that makes a real impact on farms, this role is for you.
You'll be great if you bring
- Exceptional writing skills - you turn complex ideas into clear, simple explanations that farmers and Halter teams can instantly understand.
- Strong visual communication - you can create simple, helpful infographics, diagrams, and handouts.
- A constant appetite for feedback - you actively seek input and use it to sharpen your work.
- A drive for efficiency - you’re open to new tools, new ways of working, and adapting quickly when things change.
- A passion for education and a love of understanding how things work - you care about the details and how people learn best.
- An understanding of adult learning preferences - you tailor content so farmers can easily grasp concepts and workflows.
- A solid understanding of help centre management and content taxonomy. You know how to structure information so farmers can easily find what they need, when they need it.
Bonus skills you could bring
- Creating content - anything from help guides and infographics to short video tutorials.
- Digging into data to spot underperforming articles, common pain points, and opportunities to lift farmer education.
- Collaborating across teams globally - staying up-to-date with product releases, field team needs, and feedback that will shape your content.
- Talking directly with farmers to understand what’s working, what’s confusing, and what they need next.
- Owning projects end-to-end to ensure your content feels cohesive across Halter’s global experience.
- Maintaining and improving our help centre so it’s always accurate, up-to-date, and easy to navigate.
- Using AI tools to accelerate content creation and unlock smarter, more efficient workflows.
