Today, we offer Kpow and Flex, two powerful products that simplify Kafka and Flink for teams at companies like Hewlett Packard, Airwallex, NORD/LB, Block and a bunch of Fortune 500s.
Factor House started in Melbourne in 2019, born out of a need for more pragmatic, developer-first tooling. Since then, we’ve quietly grown our global customer base by word of mouth and recently raised a $5M seed round led by Blackbird and OIF to kick things up a notch.
We’re focused on building thoughtful products for developers and delighting our customers along the way.
About the Role
We are seeking a driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our Sales Team. As our first Account Executive at Factor House, you will be instrumental in accelerating growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities within Enterprise Accounts. You will own the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure, championing the value of Factor House's solutions to key decision-makers.
Who we’re looking for
Able to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and build long-term customer relationships.
Demonstrated success in SaaS or software sales, with proven ability to close enterprise deals
Strong understanding of developer tooling and data streaming
Comfortable with building relationships with both technical stakeholders and senior level executives
Experience using methodologies like MEDDPICC
History of meeting and surpassing quota, with strong forecasting and reporting capabilities
Comfortable communicating asynchronously across different time zones
Works well independently while contributing to a strong team culture
What you’ll be doing
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across various industries
Drive new business opportunities and close deals within enterprise accounts
Identify expansion opportunities across new and existing accounts
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure
Present tailored solutions that directly address customer pain points and demonstrate Factor House's value
Confidently address objections using data-driven insights
Leverage outreach tools including Sales Navigator, Lusha and Hubspot for active prospecting
Navigate complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders
Tailor Factor House solutions to meet specific customer needs and challenges
Forecast pipeline and revenue accurately using strategic sales methodologies like MEDDPICC
Keep CRM records current and maintain detailed deal documentation throughout sales stages
Partner with Solution Architects to support customers during technical evaluations
Work alongside leadership and cross-functional teams to drive successful sales outcomes
Attend and represent Factor House at conferences, industry events and customer meetings
Champion customer needs internally and share valuable feedback with product teams
