We're the world's leading consumer healthcare platform, supporting millions of patients across the US, Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, Spain and Canada.

We're driven by the belief that good health should last a lifetime, and that to get there we need to deliver the personalised, high quality and empathetic care that the traditional system cannot support.

You'll partner with our care teams of prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists and dietitians to support patients across preventative health, weight management and specific women's and men's health conditions.

We joined Hims & Hers so that you can do all of the above on a bigger scale, with more ambition, a stronger global brand and the resources to deliver care to patients in dozens of countries.

We're looking for people who appreciate and are excited by the enormity and uniqueness of this challenge, and want to work in the most ambitious, smart, fast moving and positive sum environment of their lives to transform how healthcare is delivered globally.

We hope that's you.

About the role

You’ll capture and edit the footage that powers Hims & Hers ads and social content. You’ll create fast, platform-native video that grabs attention, from lo-fi social content to more polished campaigns. Working closely with our producer, strategists and editors, you’ll turn briefs into content that connects with audiences and drives results.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work with the producer and strategists to turn briefs into video, planning shot lists and independently running small to mid-sized shoots on location or in the studio.
  • Shoot short-form vertical and landscape video across interviews, UGC-style content, talking heads, community moments and b-roll, capturing hooks and variations for testing.
  • Operate professional cameras or smartphones, including Blackmagic, Canon and Arri systems, and handle lighting, framing and clean audio capture.
  • Edit lo-fi and more polished content for performance marketing and other channels, from quick-turn selects and rough cuts to finished assets, including basic colour correction and sound mixing.
  • Collaborate with video editors, creatives and producers on storytelling, visual polish and the timely delivery of larger campaigns. Support larger shoots as a camera assistant, B-camera operator or data wrangler when needed.
  • Use creative feedback and performance insights with the team to test and improve content, while sharing ideas, formats and platform trends.
  • Keep footage, work-in-progress files and final exports organised with consistent naming, and keep equipment and the studio shoot-ready.

About you

  • 3–6+ years in video production and editing for brands, creators or publishers, with experience producing social-first content.
  • A portfolio or demo reel showing platform-native shooting and editing, strong storytelling and an eye for content that captures attention.
  • Confident operating cameras and working independently on small to mid-sized shoots, with strong lighting, framing and sound skills.
  • Proficient in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, including basic colour correction and sound mixing.
  • Skilled at making lo-fi footage feel intentional, and at directing non-professional talent, including clinicians and customers.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with sound file-management practices and an ability to balance quality with speed across multiple shoots.
  • A collaborative communicator who shares ideas and work in progress, takes feedback and is comfortable working in a regulated health context.

Nice to have

  • Experience with YouTube, traditional TVCs or larger campaign shoots.
  • DOP or directing experience, or a background in design or art direction.
  • Ability to create simple motion graphics in After Effects, or experience with colour grading and sound design.
  • Experience with tools such as Iconik, Figma or Blackmagic Cloud.
  • Own kit, if working on a freelance basis.
