About the role (What you’ll be doing)
As the Head of Supply Chain and Fulfillment, you will lead national operations across Australia, delivering scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes. You’ll drive performance through strategic execution, cross-functional leadership, and team development. A key part of the role includes shaping the operational strategy for new lines of business to ensure successful launch and scale.
- Lead National Operations Strategy. Define and execute the national operations strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and business growth. Deliver efficient, scalable processes that support safe, compliant, and high-quality pharmacy services.
- New Product Development Strategy & Operational Readiness
Define and lead the operational strategy for new lines of business (e.g. diagnostics) in Australia. Partner with Product, Clinical, and Commercial teams to ensure infrastructure, processes, and teams are in place to support new product launches from pilot through to scale. - Leadership and Team Management. Oversee and develop a high-performing team, including Site Managers and functional leads. Set performance standards, cultivate leadership capabilities, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive Network Expansion and Operational Launches. Lead the planning and execution of new pharmacy site launches. Oversee resourcing, compliance, and quality assurance to ensure seamless market entry and operational readiness.
- End-to-End Supply Chain and Procurement Oversight. Own procurement strategy and supplier management. Lead commercial negotiations, mitigate supply risks, and ensure continuity of critical medication delivery across the network.
- Cross-Functional Leadership and Strategic Partnerships. Serve as the primary liaison between Operations and key functions such as Finance, MedOps, Growth, and Patient Experience. Drive cost forecasting, fulfillment scalability, and operational input into company-wide initiatives.
- Operational Excellence and KPI Accountability. Set and track performance metrics across the operational organization. Drive data-informed decision-making and continuous optimization in cost, quality, scalability, and service delivery.
- Agile Execution and Planning Leadership. Lead cycle planning and execution across operations teams. Empower squads to manage prioritization trade-offs and deliver on strategic goals.
- Talent Development. Own hiring, onboarding, and performance development across the operations function. Build organizational structures that support growth, agility, and employee success.
About you (Who you are)
Skills & experience

You have 6+ years of experience in operations management or general management roles, ideally within healthcare, healthtech, logistics, or other regulated industries.

Proven ability to scale operations and support new business or product launches, with a strong grasp of infrastructure, compliance, and team readiness.

Solid experience in supply chain, procurement, and vendor management, including exposure to commercial negotiations and risk mitigation.

Skilled at leading cross-functional projects, working closely with product, clinical, finance, and commercial teams to deliver shared outcomes.

Strategic thinker with a bias for action: you’re equally comfortable shaping long-term direction and driving short-term execution.

Demonstrated success managing and developing teams, including people managers and frontline staff, in dynamic and high-growth environments.

Thrive in fast-paced, evolving settings, with strong decision-making skills in the face of ambiguity.

Familiarity with Agile planning and execution frameworks is a plus.
