About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, analysing, and responding to security threats, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our cybersecurity posture
What You’ll Do
Threat Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and industry sources to enhance the organisation's threat awareness.
- Lead and participate in incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify lessons learned and improve response strategies.
Vulnerability Assessment
- Review & Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and assess security weaknesses.
- Collaborate with customer teams to prioritise and address identified vulnerabilities.
- Perform forensic analysis to investigate security incidents and breaches.
- Preserve and analyse digital evidence, ensuring legal and investigative requirements are met.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Evaluate and communicate potential security risks to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Continuous Learning
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and cybersecurity advancements.
- Attend relevant conferences, training sessions, and webinars.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in threat analysis, incident response, and cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies for threat detection and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
