The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our cutting-edge biological computing platforms, including the CL1 and Cortical Cloud. What You’ll Be Doing

🔹 Writing and optimizing high-performance Python applications

🔹 Developing low-latency systems that integrate with biological neural networks

🔹 Managing and improving our Git-based codebase

🔹 Mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow in their careers

🔹 Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to shape the future of computing

What We’re Looking For

💡 Must-Have Skills:

Experienced Python programming skills

✔ Experience building latency-sensitive applications

✔ Strong Git workflow management and best practices

✔ Passion for mentoring and leadership

💡 Great to Have:

Game development experience (e.g., simulations, AI, physics engines)

✔ Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing

✔ Familiarity with JavaScript

✔ Previous experience as project or team lead

💡 Bonus Points for:

Neuroscience or AI knowledge

✔ Experience in data pipelines and large-scale processing

✔ Passion for complex system analysis and problem-solving
