Our platform empowers recipe creators to share quality, easy-to-follow recipes and reach new audiences, while using AI and personalisation to help everyday cooks find and cook relevant and inspiring recipes.

Clove’s founders, Anna and Sam, started Clove after leading and growing Canva’s design marketplace from launch to a team of 500+, and to become the backbone of Canva’s phenomenal growth story.

Clove is venture backed by world-class VC funds and angel investors including Blackbird Ventures (Aus), SHAKTI VC (US), and the founders of Canva and Google Maps.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Partner with founders to shape and present goals to the rest of the team.

- Lead the entire design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring top-notch quality and consistency.

- Clearly articulate design concepts and the reasoning behind your decisions.

- Drive the evolution of our cross-platform Design System, ensuring usability and consistency. across mobile and web (React + React Native).

- Identify and translate customer needs into simple, delightful experiences.

- Collaborate with engineers to shape, scope, and prioritise projects.

- Support brand and marketing initiatives, including our website, emails and socials.

- You have experience working on end-to-end products, with a focus on mobile experiences.

- You thrive in fast-paced environments, working autonomously and embracing ambiguity.

- You balance big-picture thinking with a sharp attention to detail.

- You bring a structured approach to design, and are a champion of our design system.

- You communicate design decisions clearly and persuasively, bringing clarity to day-to-day work for engineers.

- You’ve worked with large language models (LLMs), have an AI-first mindset.

- You understand consumer marketplace dynamics.

- You bring a well-rounded design skill set, excelling in everything from UX/UI to visual design.

- You have an interest in cooking or food.
